I tried attending meditation classes about ten years ago and while I must say that I felt healthier that time, I am also very scared because I felt I am too open to sensing things that are not really from this world. I feel it made me clairvoyant and I didn't want it. That is why I stopped meditating. Maybe I was not in a safe place that time. When we meditate we need to make sure that we are with a stronger person who can protect us from whatever elements could be lurking around us.
