I found these gorgeous three tone feathers in the woods today ..... i'm guessing they probably belong to a Hooded Crow ..... but since he no longer seems to need them ..... I'm now dreaming up a hat to match ;)

Took a boat trip out to Garnish Island Gardens today, which is situated in the mouth of Glengarriff Harbour. We said hello to some of my Selkie kin who were up basking on the rocks in today's non existent sunshine ......

........ and I'm VERY EXCITED to say I saw Glengarriff's first SEA EAGLE 'chick' sitting in his nest at the top of a tall tree!!!! How cool is that :)

Just delivered a selection of hats to 'The Green Door', a lovely little craft & fairtrade shop in the heart of Glengarriff village.

This weekend Glengarriff is hosting 'Jim Dowling Uilleann Pipe & Trad Festival' with loads of high class musicians on the bill ..... so if you're into trad music, gorgeous scenery and good vibes I reckon Glengarriff is going to be the place to be

Just posted this Tip Topper to a customer in the US today ..... its one of my personal favourites .... so i'm pretty sure its full to the brim with West Cork magic :)

I rescued this 'peerie moose' from between the jaws & claws of my lovely cat last night, who was using him for volleyball practice.

For a few seconds I did wonder if I should intervene with nature .... but then I reckoned that I'm also a part of nature and my cat is probably the best fed member of my household, so one peerie moose wasn't going to make a difference ..... except for the peerie moose that is!

So after banishing my very bemused cat, and offering some 'on the hands' healing to the shocked peerie moose .... he bounced off into the bushes, happy to see another day :)
