 Loads of fun today doing a photoshoot with this radiant beauty Katarina Sudikova, and super woman photographer Kait Husmann from Cook and Cure. We had Kait's two year old daughter and Katarina's seven year old son 'helping' us on the shoot and it was quite amazing to watch Kait in action ... simultaneously carrying her daughter in one arm (feeding her, wiping her face, playing games) and taking photo's with the other!!! It took multitasking to a whole new dimension in my book ... and made me feel such a lightweight ha ha   Loads more images coming soon :)))

So apparently yesterday was .... 'INTERNATIONAL HAT DAY' .... would you believe it, never knew there was such a thing, but if you're going to have a 'day' it might as well be to celebrate HATS :))) So keeping in the Spirit of things I've made a little gallery of some of my International customers from over the last few years, representing: Germany, France, Canada, Alaska, The Netherlands, Australia, Belgium, USA, South Africa, UK, Kazakhstan, Sweden, Ireland and Shetland!!! This majestic King is now so old he has to use his looooong branches as crutches! :)))) This is my fourth hat commission of the New Year ... which has been commissioned as a surprise present ... and is currently en route to its owner.
This hat has a special story ... but I can't tell you yet! I've had a super busy start to 2019 with five hat commissions on the cards ....
Here's the first three creations of the New Year .... one hat has been sent to a customer in Germany, one up North to a customer in Monaghan, and the third to a lady here in Glengarriff (who's Grandfather built the cottage where I'm currently living ... in the 1920's!) |
